The VIMEX Vapour Monitoring System is a complete system for detection of oxygen and pressure in waste vapour from vessels. It meets SOLAS regulations by automatically monitoring flow in vapour recovery systems for cargo tank venting, purging, gas freeing and ventilation.
The system complies with USCG regulations for Maritime Vapour Emission Control for tankers carrying oils, chemicals and liquid gas.
The system is arranged with a single tube from each suction point to a test station placed on deck. A pressure transmitter with EX-barrier is mounted inside the test station that monitors the pressure in the vapour collection system.
Our system includes a test station to be placed on deck and an alarm cabinet to be located in a safe area.
